Hello!

I’m Jess and since 2014, I've worked as a Sync Professional and Music Publisher, a Music Supervisor & Co-ordinator, and a DJ and Producer. Working with artists, songwriters, producers, creatives and catalogues, connecting music to film, TV, brands and games worldwide.

I work across music supervision, sync, and publishing consultancy, as well as DJ internationally, holding a residency on Berlin's Refuge Worldwide. Previously I led sync at Defected, across both Records and Publishing, after years building sync departments within independent international music publishers.

Curating has always been the thread - from making mix CDs for the car and taking care of the pre-match playlist at football, to pitching AURORA to the BBC to collaborate with Hans Zimmer for the Frozen Planet II, or to playing the last track of the night at Tresor - I’ve been selecting & curating music for moments for as long as I can remember.

Originally from St Albans in the UK, now based in Berlin, for me it always comes back to the same thing: championing quality music, and the people who make it.

  • Strategy and hands-on support for getting music placed. Sync positioning, catalogue readiness, pitching, and licensing, informed by years on the rights-holder side running sync departments for leading independent international rights holders and publishers.

  • Clear, practical advice on structuring, registering, growing and managing your catalogue. Catalogue reviews, deal understanding, and publishing strategy at any stage.

  • Workshops, panels, and lectures on sync, publishing, and broader music industry topics such as LGBTQ+ representation in dance music. Practical, real, and tailored to the room, from emerging artists to established industry teams.
